Your on the right path & who's going.

BTW, does anyone really believe the 14 figure, even with add-ons.

Slightly OT, but Chelsea only want £13M Fernando Torres!

Tell Liverpool that as he's injured and is missing or preseason that we will reconsider the 14m! We can get better for that amount. Soriano from Red Bull Salzburg for one.

Brendan Rodgers alleviated fears about the extent of Fabio Borini's shoulder injury after the Liverpool FC striker went off in their last-gasp 1-0 defeat to Roma at Boston's Fenway Park.

The Italy international, who is stalling over a £14million move to Sunderland after the Reds agreed a fee, lasted just 12 minutes against his former club.

Borini indicated to the bench that he couldn't continue after landing heavily on his right shoulder after a strong challenge from Seydou Keita.

I cannot understand what our club is doing. There is probably loads going on behind the scenes we don't know about but its quite simple really.

If he is coming get it done now.

If he is not coming put out an official statement saying he is not coming and look elsewhere.

If his agent is f**ing around, give him a deadline and tell him it gets done by this date or its not happening.

We seem too soft, out of our depth and disorganised without a clear policy on how to deal with these people. I am sure Borini wants to come here and Liverpool want to sell, there is just an agent in the middle trying to screw all sides.#

Look at the Wickham situation, we are fannying around over that too.

Well it just shows everyone involved are idiots. Until this is done one way or another he should never have played.

I suspect this was a way of trying to get more money all round. Agent would have said after the game "Itallian teams are now interested you need to pay my client more" Liverpool would be saying we want more money because he is a key player etc... etc.... The reality now is he is probably worth less. Idiots all round.

Confirms my thinking on football, the clubs / agents etc... don't have a clue how to run a business.

I disagree vegas - mainly due to wanting a player as fit as possible to join us - if he has opportunity to get some game time then let him get it - He could easily have signed for us and got the same injury in pre-season.

Yeah but he's on around £150k a week! Trying to offload him basically.

I believe the £14m with add-ons - He's 23, PL experience and proven ability to play there. You won't get definite better for cheaper - you may get someone who is potentially capable of being as good or better (Soriano or whatever he's called for instance) but we have no way of knowing whether he will be.

So get the deal done and play for us. I am not debating the fact he could get injured at anytime I am debating putting 14m on a pitch that could break a leg and be worth nothing, its not very sensible just to eek out a few extra quid from us.

I agree - get the deal done. Liverpool have ****ed it up but, sa I say, I'd rather have Borini who's played a pre-season signed on August 14th than one who's had zero game time signed on August 14th - this would effectively write off a (up to) £14m player until September at least!

Wish it would either get done or be put to bed

These protracted transfer saga's are now becoming the norm, and everyone is p'd off.

Surprised that Liverpool played Borini if he was going to leave.

Sort of gives the impression that he was staying at Anfield.

Still,it's an ill wind, and Frazier,a lot cheaper, could be a good option.

I remember when brown hurt his shoulder in the cup a couple of years ago and he was out for ages, hope it isnt the same case for borini.

would still like to sign the lad but if liverpool are messing around, then forget it. We move on

Read into it what you will

This is an interesting piece from the Sunderland Echo, the way I read it, Poyet is beginning to doubt that Borini will sign
