Eastleigh are having a go and there are a few other decent teams out there. I think we have to look to be getting something against all the top teams and then get as many goals as possible against the weaker teams. I always start the season really optimistic and obviously end up bitterly disappointed. I just hope that we are competitive, near the top all season and in with a shout at the end. If we actually get back at the first attempt that would be beyond my wildest dreams to be honest.
eastleigh, gateshead and forest green are the suger daddies so will have strong teams. grimsby, wrexham, barnet, kidderminster and torquay will be tough games as well. i use to be optimistic but thats all been drained out of me. i dont think we will get out of this league for years!

I was quite optimistic a few weeks ago and looking forward to getting started again but now I'm starting to feel the opposite and going by the preseason so far and the fact we've only scored one I would say mid table or bottom half so another total failure awaits us.
Nothing will be won unless we can score some goals. DC says he wants to play attacking football. When DC's style of attacking football shows that we can score some goals, then we might be able to be a bit more optimistic and predict where we might finish in the table.
