ROBBER STONE 20-1 Worcester 4:40 could be worth a small speculative punt tomorrow. Last seasons run behind Anton Dolin reads quite well in the context of this race. I would prefer him to have been dropped a few pounds for his last run over a trip too far but Trevor Whelan takes off a handy few pounds. Conditions should suit quite well and I don't think this one will be far away.

Hello, everyone. Nothing for me today as its pretty dire stuff.

ATHENIAN doesn’t go for the Listed race at Naas this evening but she seemingly has been entered in everything bar ‘The Boat Race’ on Saturday with entries at Ascot, Newcastle and again at Newmarket. She’s been put up 4 lbs incidentally after last Saturday’s win and will run off 96 should she go to either of the latter 2 venues or 95 at Ascot (as the weights were framed last month and she gets a 3 pound penalty for her victory 4 days ago). Seemingly that old rogue, Sir Mark Prescott, thinks she can win another nice handicap before tackling Pattern company. She’s still viewed as ‘a Group horse in a handicap’ even off 95 or 96 and she should go very, very well at the weekend again in whatever contest she goes for providing she is fully over last weeks exertions. If everything goes to plan after this she would then be looking at a 3 figured perch and almost certainly Listed or Group events from there on in.

Good luck to those punting today.

A while back I was having some success with a specific bet of 3 doubles and a treble and decided to start posting them on here, which of course was the kiss of death. I am still having quite a good success with this bet and thought I would give them another try on here as hopefully the timing may be better. I have always believed that if ever you are going to get in front of the bookie the time is over the flat from Royal Ascot until September.

Today s bet

Lingfield
4.30 Greek Spirit
Sandown
6.35 Alektios
8.20 Gambol

3 x £10 win doubles
1 x £20 win Treble

Hi. Who's that? Hi, my names George Baker. How are you George? I'm ok. Going all the way to Sandown tonight for just one ride. Really? Which race? I'm riding Aye Aye Digby in the very last race at 8.50pm. Wow a lot of effort for one ride - are you going to try and win the race? Yes I'm really going to try very hard. Its 16-1 so think you should have a big each way bet on it. Ok, yes you usually do well when you only have one race, I will have a good each way bet, thanks.

Pulled too hard again and therefore didn't quite see the trip out. Turning in he was swinging away but alas faded and as you say fluffed the last two rather badly. It will get dropped a few pounds and if they can find the key to getting the blighter to settle then I think it definitely has the ability to win a race in the prevailing conditions!

Having an small each way punt on DANCE OF FIRE in the next at Sandown, trip looks ideal on pedigree.

Ran a bit free early, but thought we where on the winner for a long way there, definitely worth a decent bet next time out.

Good Luck <ok>
