    Strong rumours on Watford forums....Deeney to sign for QPR on Friday for £9.6 million and £40k-a-week.

    Good player but no way should Deeney cost more than twice as much as Charlie Austin. Would be interesting to know if they will be on same wages.

    I did read an article on TD last season and was therefore aware of this. However he stated that this was a wake up call in his life. After this he sorted his life out, got himself fitter than he's ever been and concentrated on his football. His form since the prison sentence certainly supports this and he has been averaging 1 in 2 since. I would be very happy with this signing as he is not just a goal scorer but a real physical presence up front that defenders will not look forward to dealing with.
