I very much doubt he'll be named in the Europa league squad. We already have more first team players than places, who would you leave out for him? And then when any new signings come along, who else?

Rose is absolute murder at left back, can't defend and has absolutely no end product, whatsoever, all he's capable of doing is running with the ball and whipping aimless balls into the box. He's also apparently thrown a wobbler cause we've just signed Ben Davies in his position, as he feels he has a divine right to be first choice LB. Robertson has his him beat, in both attitude and ability, for that reason alone, we should be looking to get at least equal to what they're willing to pay for Rose. Do we really need to take a chance on a player with a track record of putting his team down to 10 men? Plus all the complications of losing them for a month when the fixtures start to build up for the African cup. Don't do it brucey
I trust Bruce when it comes to defenders. If he thinks he can straighten him out then so be it. I wouldnt worry to much about the Africa Cup. If we sign him we will have cover anyway.
