4 years. Just 22 years old so a great signing. If he was ever sold you would think he has a great re-sale value as well. Brilliant signing

Really good news and on a Tuesday!

Tony and Co. are honestly and faithfully sticking to the 'we have learnt our lessons' mantra.

I am certain there are more good signings to come and we may finally be on the journey that Fernandes and all of us have been longing for.

I think it's fair to say this signing wouldn't have happened if we hadn't signed Rio, Palace seemed to be in the box seat to get him but I'm sure the chance to play alongside someone like Rio was a deciding factor...

 

Good bit of business although it took a while great news, now for midfield & strikers.

 

“Harry was a big factor for me, having worked with him at Tottenham. He was very keen for me to join and that was a big plus, knowing the manager wants you.

“Being able to play with Rio was also a big draw. He has been a role model of mine for many years, along with Ledley King. To have the opportunity to play alongside him was something I felt I couldn’t miss out on.

Pretty good negotiating and I'm prepared to believe that was Tony and Harry's plan in getting Rio on a free ie to draw Caulker in too.

An incredible amount of money for a defender. If anyone had told me a few years ago we'd be paying 8 and a half million for a defender I'd have laughed in their face.

A great signing, no doubt but I'd just love it if we could do a Sarfhampton and bring them through ourselves!

I know fans hurt when they lose one of their best players but I hate when they behave in that kind of juvenile manner.

there's just a little mystery around the fact that we had one of if not THE best goal keepers of last season in the premiership (go look at arsenals 10mill bid if you are not in the know) and yet we conceded the most in the premiership?...hmmm....must be the strikers fault I guess..right?????...surely right...
