I swear you'd say that whatever they do. The CTWD and OSC options will be more suitable I'm sure. Who really wants to do it in a day?

As always, if it's **** I'll say its ****. The club do far more **** than good, so I call it as it is.

They've come up with an expensive option with minimal enjoyment factor. Like Bob said, you surely want to enjoy the day a bit, not just be ferried there and back as quick as possible. Holidays is the reason I can't go, but I doubt there's many who can get Thursday off but not the Friday to make it a weekend.

Let me guess, no drinking on flight, no drinking in airport. Shut up keep quiet do as we say etc.

ETA Kirmington International coming back will be 0300. Asleep for 0500 if you're lucky.

Better off making a w/end of it in Bratters, Prague or Wien.

but most clubs in European action do the "ferry them there and ferry them back" - as it helps with the policing of the event and those fans can be "protected" more by the local police and it is easier to keep tabs on the supporters in case of foreign thugs

I can't speak for the club, the police or other clubs.

But many have been waiting decades for this game and will not be seeking to get it over with as quickly and quietly as possible.

Peak summer travel season at the moment. £399 plus ticket plus extras.... hhhmmmmmmm

The group stages will get cheaper when the bin lids go back to school.

Mrs Tickler and I are going for little more than the club price.

For those with limited funds save your cash for when it really starts in september may i suggest ?

CTWD have no problems with the club with regard to getting tickets, we're working with the Ulltras to put a package together, between us we expect at least 150-200 to travel.

CTWD and the Ulltras have made a 3-day trip of it for £70 more than the club's there and back operation.

As PLT has said, the CTWD option is more of a mini break, it's £470 and includes the Wed/Thurs nights in a hotel in Vienna, though that doesn't include the match ticket(it's going from Heathrow, there's coach travel to and from Hull for £50 for anyone who needs it).

Now that the game has been moved, we've been given a far bigger allocation than was originally expected, so there's not going to be any problem getting a ticket.

2,000 allocation, I'm guessing 'pay on the gate' won't be an issue?

That's really good to be fair. Include travel between hotel and stadium?

Actually, I cocked that up, the flights are to Vienna, but the hotel's in Zilina(all travel is included)...

Flight leaves Heathrow Airport on the evening of Wednesday 30th July. You will need to be at the airport by 6:00pm at the latest in order to board the flight

If required, a coach transfer leaves Hull at lunchtime on Wednesday 30th July

Flight arrives at Vienna Airport later on Wednesday 30th July, where onward travel for everyone to our hotel in Zilina will be provided

We will arrive at the hotel in Zilina late on Wednesday 30th July, for a two night stay - the match will be played at the stadium in Zilina on Thursday 31st July, kick off is at 6:00pm Slovakia time

Coach will leave the hotel around 8:30am on Friday 1st August to take you back to Vienna, the back to Heathrow leaves at lunchtime and lands in London mid afternoon

A coach transfer will be available back to Hull for those who want it

If you're a CTWD member, you should have received an email with all the details on?

OLM's post. If the club organised this trip you'd be squealing like ****

Now that sounds like a ****ing nightmare to me. For what extra really? Plus at the end of it you're trying to get home on a coach from London on a Friday afternoon. Good luck with that.
