Hi guys, A couple of us have booked the Trencin trip today. Fly from Manchester on Monday 28th to Vienna, going to stay there for a night. We are then getting the train to Bratislava (about an hour and a half) and we are going to stay there until Thursday and then will travel to Trencin (or wherever we will play). From there we get the train again to Prague and stay there for a long weekend and fly back Monday evening. Has anyone got any tips for the three cities we are visiting? Can't waitttt! Cheers
Vienna, they do lovely hot roasted chestnuts on street stalls (though that was in October) and they have some lovely cakes (for refinement/hangover cure) And use a map in Prague - as it is easy to get lost in the streets around Charles Bridge (though I did find a Tescos somewhere close by)
Pray to every god in every religion that you all get tickets. Even ancient gods that are no longer worshipped by anyone. Judging by the demand there seems to be, and the minuscule allocation we're expecting, loads are going to miss out. It's the only reason I haven't booked anything yet. Good luck!
How many do you think we'll get Bob? 500? 1000? I reckon the club may only sell tickets to fans who go on their own organised travel. 3 days there on Tiger Travel and 3 days back. Be a fantastic experience.
**** going all the way there on a bus. My old man was on about taking it in turns driving. Sod that. I'll be back in time for work on Friday morning
I'm booked in too.. 3 nights in Bratislava & 1 in a nice B&B in Trencin.. will pop over to Vienna one of the days, very easy on the train as I've read..
Anyone else heard the rumour that millionaire owner of FK Vojvodina, Zoran Šćepanović, has stumped up some serious cash for 5/6 new loanees and signings in time for the return fixture?
This place is about an hour out of Prague on the train.
Really wish I could go but I'm starting a new job that week and can't be taking time off in my first week. I'm not even sure if the club are doing travel are they? I know the OSC and CTWD have been planning stuff for weeks and taking details of people wanting to go but haven't seen anything from the club.
The club was supposed to realise details today. The best I can see them mustering together is a discount on the ferry
Are you serious? I couldn't think of anything worse. Also doesn't matter even if you don't get ticket, will be a great trip. The ground is a shed I'm sure there'll be a viewing point somewhere.
Put 4 white plastic chairs in your car and drive down to the local kurdish car wash, line up your plastic chairs and get the car wash kurd to spray you with his jet wash hose, pick up the chairs and practise lobbing them against the flow of water to simulate a water cannon. Also practise peeling onions to simulate potential tear gas.
