No-one has claimed its equal, but you cannot say one should have to commit, yet are fine when the other half doesn't commit. If it was agreed by all parties, then why does the contract still remain, surely if all were agreed, it would be more beneficial for the players to have their contracts terminated, all agreeing to no pay outs, and just move on, but that has not happened has it. How many players of the spanish lot are going to leave before you realise something is clearly wrong here, now who is living in cloud cuckoo land. They ain't being told they aint wanted, or leaving, because all is rosey behind closed doors. If it was, why do we not tell Tiendalli the same? You damn right I do, I want Michu here, but he is clearly not happy here, and if I was in a job that I was unhappy at being there, I would move jobs too. Id be a hypocrite to expect him to stay here even if he is unhappy here. If it was all about the money, he would still be here, he is a passionate bloke, and clearly there is something that made him unhappy, maybe it was the sacking of Laudrup, maybe he doesn't want to play for Monk who if rumours are true, went behind the managers back. Swanselona - this is turning into an argument not a debate so let's end it now eh? Plenty of fans will pat Michu on the back but others won't. We can't all agree on everything can we? A quick reminder. I believe you are a mod so phrases like "you are talking crap" and "You're talking ****" have got daiswan and others banned here. I for one deliberately avoid those sorts of comments and maybe you should too. I've made my views known and respect yours even if I disagree with them. I'm done with this topic.

The tone of the posts has gradually become more argumentative because people can't seem to accept that we all deal with player departures in different ways. Fact is plenty of fans feel the same as me whilst many others are rather more ambivalent about Michu. Takes all sorts. If there's debate here as opposed to insults and arguments I'll happily join in. I'd have thought a mod would encourage that rather than insult posters, but whatever.

Both dragon and swanselona Are good posters and both have a point . I fight like cat and dog with swanselona over some things but in fairness i dont Think we have ever got too personal, debate gets a bit heated so etimes but thats only because they/we Are all passionate about the swans. No need to make a mou tain out of a mole Hill here, just 2 posters going at it ,thats e whole idea of a forum IMO .

How dare I accuse anyone of double standards when they criticise players who leave for genuine reasons but Michu is untouchable because he's a 'ledge' innit? I'm off now to flay myself with a barbed whip and punish myself for having the temerity to disagree with him. How stupid was I? Michu should be thanked for leaving us! Yes, that's it - in fact I'm going to go the extra mile.
