This lad that we are close to signing Viviani was called up to the Italy squad just before the World Cup but didn`t make the cut. Get him signed on a bit quick Cellino.

I think Poleon would be the perfect foil to play alongside Smith, better than Morison and Nogoal Hunt. As for Byram if he's over his niggling injuries he'd get into any Championship side.

    We're lucky to have him

I really want Poleon to be able to fill that role, I can see where you are coming from for sure. It's a bit of a catch 22 for me with Poleon though, when he came on last season he had bags of energy and clear potential, but he very often made the wrong decision time and time again. That's something that will hopefully disappear with experience and a bit of maturity, which he will get with game time (particularly at this level). Problem being, do we keep letting him start games while he develops like that and take the risks/consequences on board?

    Not quite.

"On 10–12 March 2014 every young Italian player that had apperared at U18 to U21 level in the past 3 seasons were invited to a training session for the Senior Italy national football team by the then Manager Cesare Prandelli, this has been tradition for the last 6 finals in order that the younger players could see how Italy prepared for World Cups should they be included in future tournaments.[11]

If it were down to me White would be gone however it looks like he is staying so here is my reasoning on White:

If we are going to set our stall to play 4-4-2 the minute one of the wide players (assuming we sign two) get injured we are out of balance. We can play someone out of position and we will probably get found out so to play 4-4-2 we do need capable cover. Byram I see as capable cover on the right and maybe one of the new guys like Doukara for the left.

But we would still need cover for that left side should we be 70 minutes in and Doukara is having a stinker, yes I agree White is poor at crossing but teams wouldn't want him running at them in the final stages of the came.

I keep hearing this about White, but I've never seen it in all the years he's been here. He is simply awful & I cannot imagine any defence worrying about him running at them - they know it'll come to nothing. Oscar Pistorius could do a better job without his falsies! Could probably cross better too. White is a wage robber through & through.
