Revvin' up your engine Listen to her howlin' roar Metal under tension Beggin' you to touch and go Highway to the Danger Zone Ride into the Danger Zone Headin' into twilight Spreadin' out her wings tonight She got you jumpin' off the deck And shovin' into overdrive Highway to the Danger Zone I'll take you Right into the Danger Zone They never say hello to you Until you get it on the red line overload You'll never know what you can do Until you get it up as high as you can go Out along the edge Is always where I burn to be The further on the edge The hotter the intensity Highway to the Danger Zone I'm gonna take you Right into the Danger Zone Highway to the Danger Zone Right into the Danger Zone

Not really a soundtrack but surely the greatest ever atmospheric music in a film is the Jaws music. Just stunning.
For VJ admitting he liked Titanic a ban with immediate effect should take place Gladiator main song with Lisa Gerrard is absolutely superb. PS VJ, I like The Sound of Music. Think it's more to with wanting to knock Julie Andrews back doors in than the soundtrack tho.
Most of mine have been listed already. A Few others I thought of: Deerhunter Highlander pulp Fiction Flash gordon Dirty harry .......can't beat a bit of whackawhackawang.
Star Wars! Epic soundtrack Lord of the rings, simple brilliant soundtrack. Indian jones........ Superman.......
The business has a superb 80s soundtrack to it. Had that **** Danny dyer in, but can't take away the cracking music, the producers got it spot on. Zulu has a great sound track, classic film.
Shawshank on the big screen. The cinematography is immense. The soundtrack is fantastic. There are a hundred reasons why it keeps getting voted the best film ever.
Few of my favs that you might not have heard of... The Proposition (Nick Cave and Warren Ellis) - ****ing bleak and beautiful. The Fountain (Clint Mansell) - Trippy Moon (Clint Mansell) - Atmospheric Conan the Barbarian (Basil Poledouris) - If I was a boxer, 'Anvil of Crom' would be my intro tune. Once upon a time in the west (Ennio Morricone) - Mood music at its best. These aren't compilations of songs, just movie music.
Pulp Fiction and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Also the song at the end of Gladiator is powerful stuff, I don't seem to be the only one here who thinks that. Any Wes Anderson film with a licenced sountrack.
