Favourites to sign Slimani?

... not sure whether this has any legs on the back of signing Leo Ulloa ... but what if ... no doubt the Hull lads will be back on soon to tell us that a strike duo of Long and Jelavic is far better

 

If the rumours about Campbell signing along with Ulloa then I can't see any legs in this.

That would give us Nugent, Vardy, Ulloa, Campbell, Wood and Taylor-Fletcher

I suspect the last 2 would be available for transfer but even then i can't see why we would need or want a 5th striker

If Campbell doesn't sign then I think we might be interested but maybe only a loan

 

Not really better than what we already have is he ? I´m not to impressed with our signings so far tbh. Maybe I´ll be proven wrong & they´ll all turn out good but...

 

I think you'll find that Mahrez and Slimani were the only two average players in a good Algerian side.

 

is an average player in a good side better than a good player in a poor side.

Id say the good player in the average side has more 'match winning qualities' but the average player in a good team is the better all-round player?

 

Slimani was good, I was really impressed with him.

 

You must be pretty confident he's not coming to us if you have good things to say about him!

 

can never have too much optimism eh..... Seriously guy's until it's announced by the powers that be ( excuse the pun ) don't be drawn IMO !
