This makes no sense. Us taking the piss out of someone saying Emre Can will be the best midfielder to ever live is "utter bollox". If the statement itself is bollocks, then surely it is worthy of ridicule. None of you guys on here have said anything like this, so its not aimed at you guys. If a Chelsea fan on twitter said a similar thing about a new Chelsea player after 20 minutes against PNE, I would cringe and facepalm.

good point Bodanski, but methinks Chelsea fans, like most premiership fans, would think twice about such a stupid statement. The RS's however, jump in headfirst. Any wonder they get ridiculed?
To be fair. Metro told a lie- not one of those quotes said he was better than Yaya Toure- only that he was better than Zidane. They said he was the "White Yaya Toure". What that means is- he's going to throw a fit everytime someone forgets his birthday- and claim he didn't win Balloon De Door because he is African. Now to address the comment about him being better than Zidane. HE IS BETTER THAN ZIDANE Zidane hasn't kicked a ball competitively in 6 years and is in his 40s now. I'm fairly confident Can is much better than Zidane! He could run circles around Maradonna and Pele too if we're being honest!
