Goole should've scored then, our lad caught in possession in our area (not sure who it is), Goole lad gets round Cracknell but misses. Curtis Woodhouse doesn't look impressed.

 

Possibly, unless Bruce wants a few youth players to feature in the first team (in cups and Europe), in which case I think he'll stay.

I'd say he's good enough for at least League 2 level.

Just been told there's a scout here from Palace looking at Sam Topliss, our LB (he's been pinging in crosses like nobodies business, he's a real threat from LB). There are a few scouts here, I've seen one from Boston United and one from Carlisle. Haven't seen anybody in Palace gear though.

 

Quick Tommy go tell them about this amazing German striker we have that they can get real cheep.

 

FT 4-0, decent game, Goole kept going right until the final whistle, but will be disappointed not have got on the scoresheet themselves.

Goals from Matty Dixon, Jonny Margetts, Karim Rossi (my Man of the Match by some way) and Ryan Fallowfield.

 

Hopefully Ter Horst gets himself a goal soon... his record in the lower leagues was really impressive.

Good result that. If I'd have know this game was on I might have made the effort to get me sen there. Poor publicity again City.

 

Because most at the club don't care, they assume no one else cares either.

 

I wouldn't be too worried, it was a development squad against a lower non league side. It was mentioned a few weeks ago. There were 200 odd people there so they obviously promoted it enough on Goole's end.

Bit of info on him, Rossi is Morrocan/Swiss, he's an out and out striker and he's signed on an 18 month deal (according to a Stoke fan). They seem pretty gutted to see him leaving and if he can step up and feature more in our pre season, we might not need a fourth striker. To quote Rolf Harris "The kid looks good. Very good".

 

Thanks for the up dates today Tommy much appreciated. This Rossi in the 2 games he has played seems to have excelled, sounds as if he could be a good signing.

 

Let's hope the Devt. Squad will be playing against a few other Prem Devt Squad sides soon.

None that I saw. Curtis smashes a water bottle, but that's about it.
