No need to be confrontational or offensive. Just the facts, m'lud. We are Hull City, everywhere we go everyone will know.
Judging by an interview in the Independent on Sunday the other week there is one person who disagrees with you.
Just a small point but one of interest. When did Assem Allam give the Independant an interview? The press are not as open as they make out either. Assem Allam gave the interview 2 weeks before it was printed. It was held back and used to inflame the situation. This is not a defence of Assem Allam and his words. The media is a business and not some public minded body.
AA has a history of undermining the manager and team (and therefore our club) by his intemperate and ill-judged outbursts.
Merchant. Can you get me some of whatever you were taking. Was Keeley D smiling just at you when she did the weather?
âthey had come to a time when no one dared speak his mind, when fierce, growling dogs roamed everywhere, and when you had to watch your comrades torn to pieces after confessing to shocking crimes.â ― George Orwell, Animal Farm
Did anyone get on their home video? Budget cuts, but I think they might have managed to afford a nice spangly HD camera. Nice work if you can get it.
Happens all the time, I've seen the home fans removed when we're the away team even though our idiots were the ones causing trouble.
Speaking of the police, they've just announced the 3 best PCC's in the country for transparency in their operations and in dealing with complaints. The one for Humberside Police came in second place. I contacted the people doing the award to ask for a full list of all of them to compare different areas, and the list they gave me a link to was an anonymised version. So the police are being marked for transparency by a group that isn't even being transparent about the award.
Mel, The interview was printed on 1st Dec & parts were being quoted on the Saturday evening before (30th Nov). If he gave the interview 2 weeks before this how did he know we'd lost to Palace on the 23rd Nov supposedly a week after he gave the interview? According to Allam it will not be his decision, as he insists it was not during the Palace game. "I have professional management capable of handling the situation. The main thing is that freedom of expression does not prevent the freedom of others to watch the game, or the rights of those who have paid to advertise. "But can I remind you, we lost that match. And we still talk about these people as 'fans'? Again, how can you be supporting a club when you distract attention during a game?" http://www.independent.co.uk/news/p...hey-can-die-as-soon-as-they-want-8975199.html
Really? Any examples? Where have our fans ripped up seats and thrown them at home fans and the police have spent months tracking down home fans who waved their arms about and had them banned whilst failing to arrest any of our fans for throwing seats?
