Hodgson is a ****. If you don't look beyond the top 6 we'll never get anywhere! Curtis is a rock and a good bit of bedrock to build on. Keeping him this summer has been a really overlooked achievement and could well be the difference between top 10 and bottom 5
Totally agree, he was the best English centre half last season. The OPTA index stats also back that up. We need to address his contract situation.
It is quite funny that the 2 best English CBs this season were Terry, who has retired, and Davies, who doesn't play for a big club. As a result, the utter **** that is Woy was never going to pick either.
That's why Roy needs to go. He'll pick players that don't play for clubs like Man U, but Davies who has the season of his life doesn't get a look in. Terrible management by a complete **** up of a manager.
Roy is senile and clueless defensively. He should have had the common decency to resign the day after England were eliminated. To take Smalling and Jones and put Caulker in the preliminary squad while omitting the best English CH in the Premiership last season, Curtis Davies, was an act of insanity and we saw the results in Brazil.
Nice article....has any team tested him with a bid this summer though?. Roy Hodgson should do the decent thing like almost every other manager after world cup disappointment and resign.Think a youngish management set up for our upcoming young England team would suit.Shame the stuffy old dinosaurs at the F.A wont see it that way though.
