Same. I've read a few quoting 40k basic and up to another 40k per appearance. (which partly covers us for injury's at least.)

 

It's the Standard, who traditionally seem to dislike us for some reason. So probably a completely made up number....

£40,000 an appearance - sounds a lot when put like that

 

And even if we do sign those 4 players........ still looks like a paper thin squad to me.... god forbid we lose 2-3 with injuries

 

Don't rule out up to a dozen loans of which we can only use five is it?

As the whole gamble of trying to get automatic promotion, we are still struggling against the likes of Burnley and Leicester with established squads.

I see nothing wrong with 4-5 loans, obviously its not ideal, but staying down in the Championship while we re-establish a settled squad, under the cloud of FFP rulings, wouldn't be ideal either.

Dont think anyone should be under the illusion this is going to be easy staying up.

But we have a good core group of players.

 

Exactly this, if your negotiating why do you keep blurting things out that worsen your position!

A dozen loans and more than half of them worse than what we have already!

I think the loan rules have tightened up in the PL. From memory, its 2 season loans over 21 and 2 season loans under 21.
I don't think foreign loans count against it, also half the PL won't loan us players anyway now.
