Except it's dark brown rather than purple
And before Billy sticks his oar in, it's dark brown with help from L'Oreal

Originally blonde, grows into a natural afro if I leave it (which I got told was really good for dreadlocks from someone who had dreadlocks down his back years ago) but its a lot more grey these days, it also gets shaved on a #3 to keep it short.

I have never dyed it and probably never will.

I shave my head, a touch receding on the sides at the top but absolutely nowhere near bald!

Long dark brown hair in my younger days,a la David Coverdale, then started going thin at the front about 20/21. Shaved it all off then, and never had hair since.Mind if I let it grow for 3/4 days now, comes in as white as white can be

You backcomb it and never wash it, the backcombing and build up of grease causes it to mat and you get you dreads. Think there's wax on the market that you backcomb with to speed it up. But ultimately either way you're stuck with dodgy hair that stinks because you can't wash it, until you eventually bite the bullet and cut all your hair off <ok>;)

I thought the lack of washing was a myth.

You can try and wash it, but grease repels water so it can't penetrate the dread. Have you not met anyone with them? I've met loads and they ****ing stink <laugh>

My old neighbour used to have them. You don't tend to see them that much.

No different to town pubs mate, just swap the bravado with arrogance. I drink in them because I won't get knocked out for risque comments.
