Aye its not really stacking up is it given how much Yohan has enjoyed his time here! Things are looking up. I'm pretty shocked that we have signed Cabella and De Jong. If they could just get ridiculous and recruit Grenier, Riviere and Remy. Emergenc services time for Tash.

Another two in by Thursday according to Sky and the local press. Probably Janmaat and Rivierre. All credit to the club so far, business has been quickly and without the usual haggling over every penny. Pressure was on Charnley and so far he's delivered.

Get the above two players in along with another striker and a CB if Mbiwa goes and it would be the best window we could have hoped for.

Pressure will be on Pardew to deliver, if he's given the above four players then top eight would be the minimum expectation for me.

Great to have that "buzz" back about Newcastle after losing it for second half of last season.

I think you misunderstand the issue being discussed. This is the strengthening of the team. Many posters are pleased because the team has been strengthened by two very good players. A third very good player is likely with an equally good player likely to leave. This strengthening of the team is cause for optimism.

Your point appears to be that the club has not incurred a loss on its recent trading, which causes you distress. This a separate (and some would say misguided) point.

If we bring in a right back, another centre back, two strikers and sack that useless c**t Pardew I might feel slightly optimistic for next season.

Now I don't want Pardew here and I would say a good majority would agree with me. We seem to be building a good team this window. If we continue to buy well, bringing in the required reinforcements he will have NO ****ing excuses anymore. If he starts badly with this team and fails to get anything out of them surely even the small elements who want him here or the general sitters on the fence would want the bottomfeeder gone? I'm surely correct in that assumption?

If it wasn't for the level of Ashley/Pardew hate I think most people would consider strenthening of the team and making a profit whilst doing so to be quite good business in a quite mad business arena, as the club are still actively working on more players we don't know what the final bill will be but at least something is being done for a change.
