Love pic #38 - Dejan and Dusan, Dusan with a huge grin. Did he ask him about how he let Fred win that penalty?

Can someone please cry Dejan a river, must be very hard for him at the moment, wouldn't wish a trip to Belgium with a Premier League club on anyone!

Adkins has put graffiti in that gym with his "hard work beats talent if talent doesn't work hard"

Maybe it's the type of training they're showing but the training does not seem as physically demanding as is it did last season. Nice quick skills shown on the passing drills

Jan Kluitenberg is the Dutch version of Nigel Adkins.

Not sure it's fair to gauge Dejan's mood from those shots. If he's staying, it's going to take a while (and some more positive signings) to properly reintegrate him.

Yeah for sure, but the players seem quite distant from him as well. Fonte didn't seem overly chatty to him in any of the photo's/video, and Dejan and Jose stated numerous times that they were both very good friends. Hopefully being back with the team for the week will help re build bridges and bring some much needed bonding time after the last couple of weeks.

Don't want to go too hard at the start of preseason.

All of his own making, but must be tough for him. Has had to come back after clearly wanting out and has to mix with players he virtually said were rubbish and unambitious (since all the good players have left). Better he joined them on tour than had to come to Staplewood first. I love the picture of Dusan laughing and trying to engage him in conversation...wonder what he was saying as he ran past...good picture for a caption competition :)

Always difficult to tell from photos and a couple of videos, however it did seem to be a little quieter than last pre-season. The new characters (staff and players) need to feel each other out a little.

I think we need Jos in that group to turn up with a box on his head every day to get the ice broken.

I do think all the pictures of Dejan can't be that much of a coincidence. Pretty sure he's staying now.

Don't count your chickens. Transfer Deadline day is the 31st of August. That's 49 days worth of constant press gossip, agent pressure and possibly Lovren throwing his toys out the pram. I suspect him & his agent have agreed the best course of action right now is to fulfill his contractual obligations, keep his head down for a little bit, but keep working the club behind the scenes.

Very true, although it's a step in the right direction (depending on whether you still like Lovren) for me.

I don't like Dejan at all right now but I'd rather see him stew in the reserves than leave. Then some time later he can come crawling back like Puncheon did and maybe redeem himself here.

Yep. He redeemed himself to such an extent that we continue to love him even after his departure. Everyone is capable of acting like a douche. Never rule out the possibility that they could grow up and be forgiven.

One well timed tackle in the box (preferably on Adam Lallana) and Lovren's reconciliation with the fans will be under way.

On the other hand, if he continues to rock the boat, then he remains a ****er. The ball's in his court now, though I suspect he's been getting some spectacularly bad advice, and will need to think carefully about who he listens to.
