    Season long loan..
Why?! He isn't going to get any more valuable next year.

Just sell him for £5m and be rid of him.

States in there that it isn't part of the Moreno deal and that will be done separately so doesn't look like we'll get anything off the transfer.

Offer the same price for Moreno and then add Aspas on top of it. Makes sense to me for both clubs. We get the player we want, they get the player they want along with money and don't have to spend anything on Aspas.

His bad season was mainly down to not coping with English football. He did well in Spain. If he can refind that form his value may grow.

Best of luck to him. I think it will make La Liga a little more interesting for LFC fans.

think you lot treated him unfairly and never gave him a proper chance. it took thierry henry a few games to make an impression. personally I think you've missed out on a real gem here

    cheers,

  10. Her was good in Spain so a long could see his value increase. Especially considering he has no value right now. Id rather just get shot though. Put the £1.13m in the stadium fund instead

I still think he's a good player, but his appearances were so few and far between, and short, that he was never going to grow any consistency or find his feet. Maybe he's been **** in training too which is why BR has given up on him. He was a great player in La Liga though before joining us. I think he'll go on loan, but not sure it benefits us. He'll barely shift in value, if at all, being a year older and clearly not wanted by the club.

We signed him when he was moving backwards in his career.

  16. Maybe that's the same for Aspas? <laugh>

Point is, not all players adapt to a different league. Aspas never showed a glimpse of being decent so IMO he hasn't earnt the right to be given a longer chance. Even bit part players should show something.

his stats was impressive, maybe why we took a chance on him, but sadly i think we have missed out on game time and confidence with Ibe who i see on the same level as Aspas, so in hindsight the transfer was pointless.

Exactly - Why is Rodgers so keen on loaning out players he knows full well arn't good enough to ever make our team. Even if we get £3mil and cut our losses, just get rid of the ****er.

Thank god. What an odd signing he was. Scored 12 goals in the spanish league which is easier to score in than the premier league, at 26 was never likely to improve. Was never going to cut it don't know what Rodgers was thinking
