as an outsider the new design is alright and the chosen one is probably the best of the four .

The "United" font shrink does seem a little like fairy steps to a removal - and is possibly viewed in the same way as our owner views "City"

Its very interesting that the likes of West Ham, Inter, Everton and a few other clubs have all changed their crest recently. If only the Allams were a bit more tactical in their approach.. I still think that many clubs will follow suit, maybe not as extreme as the Allams but certainly clubs are looking at the possibility of changing their name, crest, colours for marketing reasons.

Properly-run clubs realise they have to engage with fans over issues like these, as fans know the reasons for changes are usually commercially-driven, and if they are based solely on 'commercial appeal' then it's essential to get one most people like. Everton found this out to their cost when Nike decided it was time for a new badge last summer.

Some crests are pony full stop (hello WHU with your bouncy castle) and will always be in need of improvement. We are lucky in that we already had the best crest in the country- a simple, instantly recognisable one that has not dated.

It was simple, instantly recognisable because of the tigers head, which we still have

Which is why adding 1904 is so pathetic.

So no need to change it then.......

We're not quite as well known as Nike with their instantly-recognisable 'swoosh' motif so we ought to follow the lead of every other club and include our name on the badge to communicate which of the many sporting Tigers on Britain and worldwide we are.

They should add "England" underneath London, so people know where they're from.

I like their new badge. Cleaner, sharper and keeps the core necessities.

    It's odd.

Some of the best known clubs in Europe are lagging behind us and including their name on the crest.

Which ever side of the argument you sit, you'd have to be beyond gullible to believe that Allam's word has any credibilty at all.

I don't think anyone has really strong feelings about the new badge other than the Allams trying to remove any reference to Hull City from the club.

Lets be honest anyone knowing nothing about the club would from the badge assume we are called Tiger 1904

I have to say i am not against changing our badge, but my days it looks horrible. It's design is shocking with some horrible flaws, and yes it stands out, as its absolutely crap.
