In todays daft market, it's a big yes from me...Helluve player.

Candle sales have gone up 2000% in scouse land.

Liverpool have agreed to sell striker Luis Suarez to Barcelona for a fee thought to be about £75m.

Theyre apparently signing Bony from it for £20m

Would of thought spending an extra £10-15m and getting in Balotelli was a better option

Bony is an odd one for them, and Balotelli is similar to Sturridge with his positioning. I'd have thought Liverpool might go after somebody like Falcao for big money, seems they've not got the pull nowadays.

Suarez is worth every penny of £75m he's far better than Neymar is, aside from the fact they're both cheating little bastards mind. Suarez needs a muzzle and he'll be fine.

Bony was the best striker I saw at our place last season. Bar none - I wanted us to try to sign him - would be worth every penny of the £20m release clause. As close to Drogba as I've seen since Drogba played

Can you imagine Suarez in a Hannibal Lecter mask! Cue the photoshop geeks!

I wouldn't go that far Marcus, he's done well but Drogba was a ****ing tank! I loved Drogba mind, even though he played for Chelsea, what a player, that guy ran the show he is by far and away my favourite non-united player, apart from Ronaldo :(

I'm serious though, Suarez should just get a mask developed so if he tried to do it again he won't be able to, it's for his own good, if he's gonna act like a dog then treat him like one!

Only talking about one game Terry - but he was that good against us. Not comparing overall but I certainly think he will get to that level or close to. Suarez is awesome - one of the best strikers in the world (top 3) - but a complete twat!

Like you say Marcus, bony just ripped us apart and in a team with better players can only improve again. Think he needs a few more seasons like the last one to compare him with Drogs mind. Btw Drogba was a cheating diving b*stard when he first arrived on these shores as well.

Agree about Suarez, not about Bony's future though. He's a good finisher but he's not as devastating and quick as Drogba, he's quite slow in fact. See last season when Negredo was banging them in for City, I thought he looked a bit Drogba like, powerful, devastating, unstoppable. He was class, I love players like that.

Having said that, I'm not inclined to big up any Liverpool target!
