Not much of a break for the WC players is there. Perhaps Ron will smuggle a few players back with him.
Had to rush to post it...can't have DTLW getting their first, though he will probably post it later anyway . I see that another friendly before the Leverkeusen game has been cancelled. May be any number of reasons, but may also be that Ron feels more time with the team will be valuable. Short notice, but perhaps a few fans will get out there.
Will try to get to Hoensbroek, as im a couple of hours away in Groesbeek. Will report back on this thread if I do attend. Also maybe but doubtful I could hop across to Belgium, but dont think the misses will allow that Thanks for the thread Fran
All 1,326 tickets for Bournemouth sold out and there won't be any more. Shame we weren't given a bigger allocation.
U21s lost to Carlisle by 5.1, but was a team including first year Academy players as the real u21s are with the first team. Have a couple more games coming up, so good practice for them.
Shame we aren't likely to see an extended allocation, especially as Bournemouth are closing the whole south stand. Reckon we'd easy take 2/3000 if given the opportunity. Lots of Saints in the home end!
Seems as if the U21 friendly with Eastleigh has been cancelled ... because alot of them have been promoted to the first team permanently. Ron must have liked the look of some of them!
