Green Door should hose up in the 7 15 @ Chester tomorrow, Gamesome should also get back to winning ways.

but Spencer is on both unfortunately and they are both in sprints which he is at his worst at so **** knows. Wish these owners wouldn't book him, costing us all money as we could be raking it in

What the hell are they doing to British racing:

2:10 Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes (Sponsored By Qipco) (Formerly The Cherry Hinton Stakes)

Come on people, it's the Cherry Hinton. EOS.

Going against you in this one Wooly, I think SKY LANTERN will win this today. Very very unlucky not to have won this race last year, would have needed the race on her return just over 3 weeks ago. Should be spot on today and hopefully we will get to see her awesome turn of foot.

Why is the Cherry Hinton no longer called the Cherry Hinton, but the Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes? Nothing against the old girl but why change the name of one of the most recognised Group races for fillies?

Had a cracking meal here in Salzburg last night in a little restaurant with it's own micro-brewery. Home made hefeweizen (wheat beer) which was absolutely gorgous, schnitzel such as you have never tasted before, a kind of apple donut thing for desert and all topped off with a couple of glasses of raspberry schnapps. Fantastic. Heading on to Croatia shortly.

Sky Lantern looks a knocking bet today.

You are having a rerun of last year Oddy. SBC will be on soon.

Keep up, old boy, I raised the same question earlier in the week. And don’t forget last month we had the scandalous instance where the ‘Windsor Forest’ was renamed the ‘Duke of Cambridge’!

It’s blatantly part of Clarence House’s attempt to make us ‘like the pair’ but why the heck should British racing continue to bow and curtsy (and in the process turn itself into a laughing stock) to the most outdated institution known to man?!?

Newmarket weather watch: it rained heavily for a few periods off and on overnight and it's raining again now. I'd be very very surprised if there was any "good" left in the going description by this afternoon.

Of course if I'd checked the Racing Post website I'd have seen that they've already changed the going! I don't know what it is about this meeting but it is often hit by bad weather.

Cheers Wooly, seeing that the weather has changed the going again I will leave her alone. Didn't realise it had rained again. Oh well, however is will change her for SUPPLICANT in the following race. Currently around 25/1.

Cor blimey, Oddy that’s exactly the same sentiments, re the race name change, I expressed last year (as Bustino has confirmed with my comments from July ‘13). Someone will be saying next that, as a result, our usernames are associated to that chap who is supposed to have loads of IDs on the forum!

Not really sure what to make of today’s racing. I think both HIGH CELEBRITY (2.10 Newmarket) and INTEGRAL (2.40 Newmarket) will win but not much of a fan of either’s current odds, I'm afraid.

Well I’m on though can I just say well done to Vince Cable in guiding Argentina to the ‘World Cup Final’. He’s obviously a far better football manager than he was an MP.

    Good luck all.

Cor blimey Bustino that's a remarkable feat of memory - I can't remember what I said 10 minutes ago, never mind a whole year <yikes>

Bustino, if ever you're back in Salzburg really do recommend the Restaurant Friesacher at Anif (about 20-mins by car due south of Salzburg city centre). It is part of the Friesacher Hotel/Spa complex. Well worth a visit, food, wines, out of this world.

No Swanny it was OddDog's last year post, I just couldn't do the quote thing properly. I was just pointing out the same was said last year by him. Don't know if he's tipping Sky Lantern again.

    But thanks for the tip.

Are you getting ready for the relegation battle?. Worst thing about that Brazil result is they'll never get rid of that goalie now!!

The only thing I'm tipping these days is my top hat at passing belles.

Soup, salad, chips (slightly undercooked) - 4/10
