Why does every thread have to descend into the same old same old?

Of course they have no regard for us. That's why they put their hands in their pockets and saved us from going into administration and then falling into the mire. Horrible little men they are

If you think they did it for the fans, or the people of Hull, you are deluded. When you have so much money you don't know what to do with it, the only thing left is power and prestige. He has an end game, nothing to do with football, his agenda is everything to do with family and legacy.
I've actually met a few people who have done business with them, and describe them exactly as you put.
League position has never clouded my opinion of owners of Hull City.

So Hullborn starts a thread praising a well written article regarding how strong our squad is looking and how far we've come in just two years under SB.

How did it change into an anti Allam, name change thread?

    Answers on a post card.

Back on topic; I agree that it was a well written piece, good journalism from a Bucko.

Any sensible owner would detect resentment/hostility/suspicion among his core customers and act wisely, especially one who professes to know nowt about the game.

To then react in an aggressive and angry way when alternative views are put forward in a polite, law-abiding and constructive way reflects badly on AA.

I wish we could all be friends and be pulling in the same direction, and that as PB's article describes it, 'everything has never been rosier in the garden'.

Like most on here, I yearn for the day when the penny drops with our current owner and he understands what all the fuss is about.

Legacy is important and cannot just be bought.

    Good article, **** thread.

Shows exactly why i'm so confident about the season coming up, Bruce has done well to get the players he has, and also to get them quick enough for a proper pre-season. Also, we don't seem to have any bell-ends in the squad, which is a nice touch. Everyone else seems to have at least one.

Two words....Stuart Blampey. The man is obsessed with his hatred of the Allams and relishes every opportunity to turn every thread from a conversation on the massive progress that the club have made on the field under their tenure and the millions they have spent to bring top players that we never would have dreamed of signing before they took over into a never ending diatribe about "our legacy" and the evil family that are destroying the club.

If Blampey and the CTWD crowd dont want to buy season tickets and stay away in protest I say "good riddance". The rest of us, and not only so called "exiles" are enjoying the best of times in our clubs history. Enjoy the ride!!

Shall we just have a bash allams thread stickied at the top so whenever someone finds a reason to give em hell they can do it in the confines of one thread. Stops every conversation going off topic?

Surely some mod could sort it?

    Wouldn't be a bad idea.

It'd stop the usual suspects hijacking every thread.

It's gone way beyond tedious now.

It's just a shame that certain posters, with their own hypocritical agenda, want to hijack thread after thread after thread.

    Anyways, back to Bucko.

Knows how to write a piece that keeps the reader interested does that lad.

Far, far better than some local hacks/ authors.

Let's be honest it wouldn't take much to be better than the local hacks. Years ago journalists learnt their trade and worked their way up and had a knowledge and interest of their subject, Now they do media studies and think they are a journalist. Since the days of the likes of Brian Taylor and David Bond the best reporter we have had was Danny Fulbrook. Which was shown by the fact he was taken up by a national paper. Sadly not for long due to his dying at a young age.

Sorry, they saved us but apart from the initial amount the rest has been loans on which they charge interest. Great at the moment but it will be interesting, to say the least, to see the situation when Mr Allam passes away.
It is no doubt very nice to be now seeing your local team on the TV but some of us do not want to see the name of our club altered because of Mr Allam's intransigence.

Terrible what happened to the poor lad.

Excellent idea, they could just chop all of these type into one thread to save the rest of us reading Aggron's bile, but it would stop the mods from pushing their own agenda and protecting their mates as they currently enjoy doing. Plus they'd have to stop claiming its the people who don't whine about the owners who do all the hijacking. Hilarious when you think about it.

I enjoyed reading that article, although I generally do like Bucko's stuff.

I just can't understand this attitude. Real tedious talking about the single biggest issue affecting our club.

It's like saying all this talk about Hull City on here is getting tedious.

What do you expect people to talk about? Why should people have to worry about offending people who want to think everything is okay when considering voicing their concerns on a forum, of all places?

I've just quoted this post out of convenience, I'm not particularly talking about just Carmine.
