Don't think the final will be as easy for Germany as many seem to think

Also, Mascherano was first class tonight, his anticipation and timing of his tackles are first class

I think it will be a very tough game. I hope the Germans win but I wouldn't put money on it.

Argentina's game plan allowed the Dutch to play their natural game - but they didn't to for fear of the counter. Boring to death but effective and only the Argies could not care how they win so long as they do. They will do the same with the Jormans, so hopefully an early goal from them to open the game up, otherwise another tedious match on cards.

You did not miss anything mate, it was just as tedious, so one sided, the only pleasure was seeing those arrogant tossers humiliated, and remarkebly I dont mean the Germans this time. I said after Colombia and Costa Rica went out the competition would loose its sparkle and that is just what has happened. Fear is killing the game, the stakes are too high, and drama's invented by commentators and pundits don,t compensate for the lack of entertainment. If it wasn't for the penalty shoot outs we would all be asleep, and probably better off. Bring on the Premiership.

I've spoken to a few guys who watched Germany Brazil and they said they switched off after 30 mins. so one-sided, and clearly game over. Brazilians got what they deserved, cheating whinging so and so's. One hand on the cup my arse, Big Phil. Must be Big Chris' long lost dada.

So now it's the two most professional outfits in the tournie playing a game of chess on the pitch - it could blow up and be great, or be football by stealth. 10pm kick-off up here, so I'll give it 15 mins to see if it sparks into life, otherwise it's bed-time for Bonzo as I've another week of work travels coming up.

As you say, bring on the Premier league. I'm starting to miss 'giving a ****' about the team I'm supporting/watching.
