Newcastle United owner, Mike Ashley, has admitted that the club accidentally brought in the wrong De Jong in the last transfer window, signing the brother of Siem de Jong on loan by mistake. They finally got their man this week, with the former Ajax captain arriving for a fee of around £6m but itâs yet another deal that has left the club with egg on its face after they thought they had secured him on loan for the second half of last season, only for it to turn out they had actually signed his brother Luuk. The loan signing of Luuk De Jong was the last act of Joe Kinnearâs tenure as Director of Football, and yesterday Mike Ashley discussed how it was the straw that broke the camelâs back: Look, these things happen in football. It wasnât a very successful period in the transfer market for us and weâve moved on from that now. Weâve finally got the man we wanted and his brother can go back to his own club â wherever that is â and weâll move on from there. He went on to say âAt this point, Iâd like to apologise to the fans for the whole debacle â the Yohan Kebab mishap, the whole lot.â When Siem De Jong makes his debut, it will bring the number of brother pairings who have played for the club to 94, with the Ameobis and Lua Luas the most recent brothers to achieve such a feat.
Since when do you actually get a direct quote from Ashley???? He has a habit of keeping well and truly schtum, even whilst the restless natives are camped outside his house with torches and pitchforks!
It is so clearly fake that it is a real question mark above your intelligence if you even hoped it were true. FFS
A real clever man would never put, FFS. so you are still a mong, but also a black and white ****wit mong. Trying to be a clever **** eh?
Well they are treading on thin ice coz its illegal to quote somebody unless true in the media But then a person of your inteligence would already know this
It's not the media though it's some shiity fanzine or blog or whatever you call it. Just like me saying. Jose Mourinho: "We was unlucky is a legendary poster." It's that easy.
Its in the public domain, as far as i can tell a media outlet, not a forum for debate and discussion, its an article, i dont care if its true or not but its funny none the less
