Well at least I don't feel too stupid now, its not good for you having to look up words to find out what they mean. I think it may have ben spelt wrong though. I do hate flies, not phobic of them, I just find them annoying and lack hygiene, a big li!e Portsmouth fans.
It may well be, but I usually butcher a phrase and then stick with it. I use "couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo" all the time, people laugh and think its made up but I wasn't sure and just checked and its a real Irish phrase. I'm wondering what team we support when people are saying no to the likes of Sigurdson, Sandro, Capoue, Holtby and Lennon. Would happily add any of them to our starting eleven!
Like quite a few others Townsend definitely. Then probably Naughton as we need cover in that area & possibly Sigurdsson
Townsend is the obvious one and at the same time realistic. He really enjoyed playing for us and has a lot of respect for the 12th man. Sign him up!
Holtby, Siggi and Townsend for me. A Ball playing midfielder, a goal scoring midfielder (which I'm sure he will if he gets the chance. And of course we know how quick and industrious Townsend is.
Lennon would become another SWP with us. its not just the player. its the amount of money theyd be on too.
Noticed that Tom Carroll's name didn't appear on that list.....maybe Pontachino is going to give him a roll at Spurs after all.... Townsend, Holtby, Siguardsonn are no brainers....would add to the strength of squad....
There are some good players in there...and Abedayour should also be included, Spurs have a policy of offloading 30+ year olds - but I don't like us doing business with Levy, so I hope we get none of them.
Townsend's game has been sorted and he needs to prove he can still play IMO ... hope he does and yes snap him up as he discovered his new game with us I would take Capoue and Sandro Would they make a team ... no idea

Naughton makes too many mistakes to provide any realistic prospect. Aaron Lennon - no - great when on form but doesn't look better than what we've got when even playing averagely. I suspect most will be overpriced though and we'd probably do better to look elsewhere.
