Or an "interesting" lack of decisions.

With a competent referee Brazil would have been down to seven players, causing the match to be abandoned.

Qatar was clearly a farcical decision, even before the corruption revelations.

But I don't see why Russia are undeserving. They have always behaved themselves as a federation and as players and have the infrastructure to stage a great tournament. I have no interest in the Winter Olympics but Sochi was an organisational triumph (unlike the Atlanta Olympics).

And if they start repeating nations, England should be ahead of the US in the queue. We already have the stadiums.

As a proud lover of all things Belgium I hope they stick it to the smelly argies this afternoon.

What a load of cack from the belgiums, if that is the sort of rubbish we are buying from that tinpot biscuit munching nation to maintain our championship status, then we might as well book our train tickets to Orient already.

I rather like the Belgians. Any small country that can produce players like Kompany, Hazard and Mertens all at once has to have something going for it. I'll pass on Fellaini.

    Kompany or Jagielka. You choose.

I do agree they make jolly nice biscuits though, and the chocolate ain't arf bad either.

Actually won money today, Muller first, both teams to score and Germany to win 20 odd quid very nice.

As much as it won me money, the Oscar goal cost me 30 points in fantasy football :(

I thought Brazil got what their football deserved for this tournament, all lumped into 90 minutes. Cheating, diving and now thrashing. Anyone fancy Luiz in a Charlton shirt?

Chelsea must be giggling when looking at that cheque from PSG <laugh> What an absolute cack centre back that man makes. Couldn't have been better that he was captaining the team last night.

I said it at the start of this thread, you can't win a World Cup with David Luiz in your defence. The guy is an utter clown. How on earth is he a £5m player, let alone £50m

The only thing that Luiz can hold on to was that the Brazil left back was even worse than him <laugh>

It was out of order the crowd's reaction to Fred.... the guy is weak at international level and everybody knows it apart from Scolari apparently <yikes>.... then again his only other option up front was Jo <laugh><laugh>

Luiz could have been red-carded 3 times. Brazil only got as far as they did by fouling. Pity, because Chile or Colombia would have given Germany a better game. I still had to check the result this morning though. Brazil's reputation as the home of the beautiful game is in tatters now, if it wasn't before the game.

Absolutely delighted Brazil got smashed, far too much posturing, group hugging, fake tears and superstitious prayer nonsense that was starting to grate. Waving Neymar's shirt around at the start was like a white flag to the canny Germans. Phil Schloari 'one hand on the trophy' speech summed up the nations inability to rationalise.

As my mother would say "now you have something to cry about"

Totally agree Typical. I still remember the Brazil of the eighties (Socrates, Falcao etc) who played wonderfull football. That lot last night were'nt fit to follow in their footsteps. And all this religious rubbish? Do these clowns seriously believe in a god who takes sides in a football match?

Had Muller wincast last night at 10/3. Not sure who I want to win tonight, but want the Germans to win the final for previously stated reasons. Brazil v Argentina in the 3rd/4th playoff would be something.

True Brazilian football died in 1982.

I'm delighted this lot have been humiliated so badly.
