Bit bored tonight chaps, what do we all think of Super Frank Nouble!?

I would LOVE him to be the new Kuqi, but unsure. I didn't see a lot of us last season I must confess, though from what I did see in the Watford away game I was pleasantly impressed. He didn't appear anywhere near how a lot of people describe him on here/ TWTD.

Could he get 6-11 goals with a few assists and contribute well this season, or would some of you rather him be moved on this summer? Or wait and see what the first two months or so bring?!

I worked it out a few weeks back that he has played a total of around. 15 games (total match time) since he last scored a league goal.... Nuff said, he is young though!

He's in the last chance saloon, Mick has been patient with him, think it would be fair to say he has had more poor games than good, if he can't hack it this season, he needs to be released, his attitude is spot on however

The way i see it, is that he is not a forward/striker. If he could be utilised as a right midfielder, then i think he could be useful to have in the squad. He'll probably chip in with 3-5 goals (average for a midfielder) he'll win a few knock downs, and can cause havoc in the oppositions box.
Admittedly, he's not the greatest finishers, but in my opinion, is a useful player to have on the bench when you need to change things around and try a different (more physical) approach.
I'd definitely give him another season, in the hope that he's worked out how to shoot (on target).

He frustrates me no end as potentially he has the attributes one would look for in a player.

Agree, could be last chance time. Hope he has a good summer, and pushes on.

I didn't see enough of him last season to make an educated assessment but from what I did hear on the commentary it sounded like he didn't have enough of an impact in the majority of games he featured in. Not saying that he didn't make any contributions, just not enough. He needs to improve or it makes me feel like he is taking a spot in the match day squad that could better go to someone else.

Some very harsh comments about him considering he is only 22. To put that in to perspective Tommy Smith is 24 now, think how far he has come in just 2 years with the right attitude and the right manager.

I think he has a lot of promise and I wouldn't judge him too quickly. He was put into a tough position last season with McG going out and Mick not having a lot of options. He isn't the finished article yet but if he keeps working hard I think he has a future with us.

Problem is a certain Danny Ings emerged from almost nowhere last season......he is younger than our Frank.....He turns 23 in a month or two, that is not young these days in pro footballing terms. He has been in and out of countless 1st team squads for seasons now.
Frank has the effort and work rate but plays like he does not understand the game at all, fans want him to do well, he could become a cult figure amongst many Town fans such is his desire to do well for us.
I do agree that he has to deliver this season or he should consider a drop down a division.....!

He is a likeable player that does give 100%........some players take longer to realise their potential and some just need a run of luck to get them going???also some have one good season and then drift along for the remainder of their career...

be honest lads, if you harbour ambitions of promotion next season, and i think you've got a realistic chance with mccarthy in charge, you shouldn't even be discussing franck nouble. he should be playing for a league two team. that's his level. he might look quite good down there but he's never ever going to be a championship footballer

Rather him than Wolfswinkle though ;)

In all honesty very mixed on him.

That said, when clubs do go up or do something they don't necessarily have a squad of stars and some performances go a little unnoticed.

Still wanna give the lad a chance though!
