Odds on, bookies favourite, pole position, done deal to sign every beggar with 2 legs. When will we actually sign anybody - after Ross money is assured?

There's a touch of irony in that TC, just a touch

 

We will wait til day after transfer window shuts and the statement will be "I couldn't get hold of said player and I saw him turn up at QPR on sky sports"

 

It's just so frustrating. How long can all these potential signings stay in the "imminent" bracket! Three, four, five weeks??

Can only assume we are being led on by those NOT in the know

 

We need them urgently, Italian players who might or might not speak English getting used to their new team mates, half a team who will have had a pre-season fitness camp and half who won't have. If we go into pre-season friendlies without the majority of who we are going to start the season with in place then it will be a disaster.

 

Crazy situation going on and on, and little attempt by the club to explain the underlying position. Are they hampered by cash flow problems, the transfer embargo, Hockaday's pulling power, who knows? Very little coming out of ER, frustrating that nothing happens as each day passes.

 

Much has happened the lot youll be starting the season with are all in training in Italy why else would you pay for them to be there
all given a clean slate by hockaday who wouldnt know a championship quality player if one bit him on the arse
