Just found out that a really good bloke has got the job as your new Academy Director. Dane Facey has been given the job and moves on from Cambrian Academy, he's a brilliant bloke and will make the most of bringing the kids through for you.
I can't say i know anything about the bloke but with several new faces coming in it looks like the old guard are on their way out slowly but surely . Theres plenty of talent out here and within the Academy the , trick is utilising it to it's full potential .
swansea un18s this year! got a real exciting team. best they had for years! i say 4 players got a good chance making it to first team.
There are alot of good boys coming in this years youth team!but I hear special things about these boys! kyle copp MID jordan sherman DEF owain jones.ATT and Jordan islip, Winger. who goes in as first year scholarship in july top talent. there are 2 other boys who are starting first year i heard of. carnt remember names! strongest youth team we be fielding for years! maybe.
He has coached my son over the last season in Cardiff's Academy,absolutely gutted he's left quality coach and a really top guy, good luck Dane!
Well aren't we the lucky ones , met him today he's coaching the under 11's ,very approachable and his 1st training session looks very promising ,well organised ,no hanging about with clear instructions .Looks like the Board are taking the aim of achieving Cat 1 status as paramount in the progression of the club.
Some big positive changes throughout the club this season as monk puts his stamp on things. A shake up of backroom staff was needed as we move into a new era in our 4th season in the premiership, Our new scouting network looks to be better under our new head scout and we are not a club that big players dismiss straight away anymore as we are beating top teams for their signatures....
