    Newcastle offered Rod Fanni as Debuchy replacement; not interested

    Get French Football News understands that Newcastle United have been offered Marseille right-back Rod Fanni as a replacement for the outgoing Mathieu Debuchy, but that Premier League side rejected the offering.

    Rod Fanni may now have reached their radar, but he is not on their priority list of targets for that position.

    The player is still looking for a move to the Premier League, but wages are an issue for one of the newly-promoted sides that have registered their interest, even if the identity of that club is currently unknown at the time of writing.
