    Good Morning everyone,

    How are we?

McCormack is due to sign a four year deal with Fulham worth 11m.

That's our third highest transfer (I can remember). Ferdinand 30m and Hasselbaink at 12m being the others.

    Who's got the better deal?

Ross is very good, but I wouldn't put him up with the likes of Hasselbaink. He could be great for 7 or 8 games, but could go the next 5 without scoring.

    Thoughts?

I wonder at point point during negotiations would Ken or GFH have sold him?

    Who wishes Ross well?

Does anyone feel he has turned his back on us, or acted improperly?

Ex England Manager Peter Taylor reckons that Hockaday and Lewis will be successful at Elland Road. Taylor believes the pair’s diligence and organisational skills will leave United’s players fully prepared for the forthcoming season, with the training camp having featured a number of triple sessions on designated days so far.

If we truly are getting 11 million we should bite their hands off! With regards to the player himself, I don't understand why he wants to go to Fulham.

I hope he goes there and is a massive flop for the season!

Looking forward to seeing who we bring in. I'd be happy with a mix of our academy and some Italians...

Morning Elland and all. We've both got great deals and I wish him well. Footballers rarely spend longer than four seasons at a club anyway. Given our finances 11m is a fortune to us and Cellino can achieve many good signings with that money, after all he is regarded as a bit of a wheeler or dealer. If McCormack repeats last season, Fulham will have also got a great deal as 11m is not a lot to a team with parachute payments. Ross's record is 52 goals in four seasons for us, more than half scored last season.
As for hocks day, I like the reports our lazy ****s are training three times a day in Italy. It's clear whatever players we have come august will earn their wages from now on.
As I've said previously, Cellinos next job surely is to get 10m for morisson

I can understand him going, but i don't wish him well, i hope he fails.

I'm not bitter, if he'd gone to a West Ham or a Newcastle i would have wished him all the best. While Fulham are showing considerably more ambition, he was captain at this club, not something to be taken lightly.

But £11m is a fantastic amount, hopefully its used correctly.

    Agree with most of above

    Fantastic deal by Cellino

Would not surprise me if Ross finds it harder to succeed at Fulham and in the future Leeds are in the prem when they are not, also as rivals I hope he fails, although that's not personal

No problem with Ross wanting out but not sure Fulham is the answer

According to his hype Cellkno could buy a team in Italy for £11m, will be interesting now until the season starts

    Good morning all as well

Morning Jonny, you alright fella <ok>

Its a massive gamble. He's had two good seasons, but can blow hot n cold.

Looking back, I think it was a bad decision to have made him Captain.

We don't know the ins and outs of what's gone on behind the scenes. But whether he's engineered the move or not, whether he's been petulant and out of order in not going to Italy, or not, I don't really care. He did a good job for us while he was here, he's going somewhere where he feels they have ambition after being here at a club that's shown little during his prime years as a player... And we're making a huge profit on him. Personally I wish him well.

As for the money, although I rate him, anything north of 5m is very good money for him I'd say. It looks pricey for Fulham but they have bought last year's top goal scorer in the division, if his goals this year get them promoted he'll look a good buy.

Morning Eire, I cannot see Ross getting any better then he actually is now. I think he has peaked, but he is likely to get better service from his new team mates, should be interesting...

Morning 2020, another well balanced view!

If we had 11m to spend, not sure I'd buy McCormack

Good morrow from a very dull Bardsey its probably dull because one of the truly great legends of the game has died in Madrid Alberto di Stefano was one of the greatest players ever and will be sorely missed
Ross going for 11m is Cellino another Bernie MARDOFF in disguise I thought the man had been locked up !
I know a player is worth what someone will pay for him but really ROss£11m you are having a laugh !
Lets hope as Eire says he sells Morison Fatty Kenny Norris Poleon White then he can walk on water as far as I am concerned
Now what do we do with this untold wealth well we invest it in the future
    Guedetti £1.5m for a start
Matt Smith give him a 2 year extension to his contract which expires in June next year

    Morning,

That is a crazy price for a Championship player, £11m! He wanted to leave so best he did and now Cellino can wheel and deal in the transfer market for players that want to put a shift in and play for the top.

Looking forward to new players coming in, I see our new keeper is training with us in Italy now, expect more this week.

    Morning Elland,

Morning Mike, yeah I like Smith, but he'll need a strong partner up front to play off

I hope he fails like so many others. Bitter yes, all this bollox about ambition and wanting to play in the Prem, hope he enjoys the money. On paper Fulham look to have a better chance of promotion, but like so many prem teams who got relegated, they won't find it easy.

Morning all. Have we got hard evidence that Fulham have submitted an £11m bid? If we have, they have, and Cellino has, then good luck to Ross. He'll need it. If it is all true, then well done to Cellino for holding out for a fantastic fee. Had we still had Papa Smurf or GFH in charge, we'd never have got such an offer. If it is true, let's hope most if not all will be re-invested.

Interesting the thoughts of Hockdoodledoo by Taylor. Suggests some of us maybe eating a bit of humble pie in the near future. Time will tell.

Morning I think 11 million is a brilliant deal I dont think mccormack is worth anywhere near that amount. Just think that's nearly enough to buy back elland road.
