Rodriguez will go to Real based on what he's said (can't see why though). If Suarez goes to Barca at twice the price, then Real have had the better summer, but Barca still have the better forward line in my eyes. No idea why Barca want Suarez either. There was a time when they tried to be morally better as a club - no chance of that now. I reckon Di Maria will come to the PL if JR goes to Real. One of Utd or Arsenal..
Yes I agree, but that can be said about most the Spanish team after the way they performed this world cup. Chelsea look like theyve been robbed paying 30m for Costa after his performances in Brasil.
Aye, Alonso is on a sharp decline mind, but he's useful from the bench. They look like they may sell Khedira as well, which would leave them wide open in CM. They were linked with Ramires for a while but that disappeared, but Ancelotti is too savvy a gaffer to leave them open, if Khedira goes, they will bring someone in. Could be that they look to Portugal like they often do, William Carvalho or Adrien Silva would be a decent fit. Not Madrid standard of course, but note that Carlos Sanzhez of Colombia remains at Elche, a tiny club, previously he was at Valenciennes, wonder if we could bite on him, a very good holding player with a bit of ability, would be a very nice signing IMO, and not cost a massive amount.
Aye. Before the World Cup I was convinced Pogba was the most overrated footballer ever, but he's been genuinely world class. Not like Rio says like, he won't be the best player in the world, ever. He could become the best box to box player though, easily. He was very impressive, bossed games.
Barcelona need a top class centre back to play alongside Pique. Madrid have Ramos Varane and Pepe. Think madrid need a pogba type next to modric and Khedira/Alonso. Madrid are flush for attacking midfielders/forwards and I reckon theyd be better off replacing or improving on Benzema with Falcao
Playing Modric deep worked for them last season a lot of the time mind, as it kind of stumped the oppo, they couldn't leave gaps behind and Modric in space to find it, Modric was Madrids player of the season. That said, they slipped up in games when lesser teams just roadblocked Modric, and that in effect cost them the title. Pogba would be an incredible by for them, Pogba & Rodriguez and they would be untouchable IMO. It's often overlooked, but their defence is superb, they generally concede by leaving themselves open, not by a lack of ability in the backline.
