Hey mate, times have changed since the 1780's IMO. Not sure how long you've lived here but myself since 85. Yes I have experienced racism in this country but who hasn't in their own country? Honestly for me it's been few and far between tbf, your experiences in my country wether short or long lived have no bearing on our overall history IMO and I mean that with all due respect..

FFS smug man get a grip <laugh>

It's not racism. Xenophobia was a less outrageous claim but still bonkers. It's the world cup, and the French have said look, you are IN FRANCE, you support the French or you keep ya gob shut. Can't see anything wrong with that myself.

As I carefully explained in the OP, it's a decree that no 'foreign' flags can be flown over Nice.

That means that if Newcastle played a match here you wouldn't be able to bring a Union Jack flag with NUFC on it.

As my dad fought his way up through Sicily & Italy to help give these people a 'Nazi free future' I take exception to that.

Your pitiful opinions mean nowt to me I'm afraid.

As Elvis Costello sang in the song Oliver's Army.
'All it takes is one inch of trigger.
One more widow, one less white ni****'.

You'd think wouldn't you but that seems to be the way society is going, especially on line.

Depends on how multiculturalism is perceived and experienced in reality. It was embraced over here in the 90's and is now being seen as a misguided concept. All it appears to do is accentuate the differences between cultures and breed divisiveness when the opposite, however well intended, actually transpires.

Exactly, no foreign flags during the World Cup, French only, IN FRANCE. Makes sense to me.

Also, your dad's efforts have absolutely sod all to do with you, don't bring them into your posts <ok>

Wow, you're one strange ****er. One post saying you should do as you're told when you're a guest, then another where you are the guest telling people what to do. Do you have any idea how crazy you look?
