Just another sound bite for them in my opinion. Others just sat while the music was played, and didn't display yobbish behaviour. You don't seem to wish to have any comments about them taking the money without doing anything for it.

I think that you can level your main criticism at all of the politicians that stand in the European Parliament. At least UKIP are up front and honest in what they believe in while the rest just hedge and prevaricate about their true beliefs!

No I don't accept that. UKIP are simply trying to jump on the anti-government band wagon in the same way that the NF in France are doing. Many MEPs agree that the EU needs to change in some of the ways that it performs, but it has always been an institution that works on consensus which means that individual countries sometimes do not get everything they want.

I am sure that you would soon have something to say about a player who did not try to play for your team, but simply did the minimum to receive his pay check.

I could not agree more. It is fine for them to have their beliefs but their disrespect whilst still accepting the money is a real embarrassment to all of us.

Similar to the Sinn Fein MPs who were elected to Westminster and never stood in some ways.....

Hitler was also up front and honest in what he believed in when he wrote Mein Kampf. Being that doesn't make UKIP's beliefs any more palatable.

Not sure what I said to draw that reaction. Some UKIP MEPs have acted in quite a bad mannered way. I do not believe it is childish to expect better from elected representatives.

I want to be an MEP , the other day they were in session for 3 minutes yes 3 minutes before calling it a day ! Do you think they only claim 3 minutes pay!
I know you lot believe the mainstream smear campaign , but UKIP MEP`s got it spot on ,I will stand to God save the Queen , but you can go screw your euro Anthem .
I will salute the Union Jack but ignore the EU flag . its great that UKIP have ruffled the feathers of the self serving establishment, that is costing this country so dear.
I severely worry at the way the UK is going ,pandering to EU policies that are wrong and misguided , making expensive mistakes , NHS , Housing education are all being stretched ,sections of uk cities under sharia law (ignore this if you wish but it is growing and wont go away).
consider this pre UKIP Dave Cameron I am for Europe and the EU ,after UKIP Dave Cameron if Junker elected I will take the UK out of the EU.
seems UKIP have forced a bit of a policy change as Dave scrambles around for Votes .
I also would ask you to look at recent history in Tower Hamlets is this what you want for the UK as a whole?
In history people that were visionaries were often ridiculed and browbeaten but were ultimately proved right.
The UK has its worst ever National debt yet we still spend millions on foreign aid (so india can have a space programme!).
We give the EU billions and they keep taking more ,yes I know we get some back but its a small percentage to what we pay.
All I ask is the the UK wins back the right to self governance that the mainstream parties have sold over last 20 or so years.
In 1972 we went into the EEC a free trade agreement in europe which was correct and good, but the creature it has evolved into is simply not good for the UK.
It has wasted heaps of money in petty regulations in many areas . the leadership of the EU is not elected by us we have no say .What I am saying is the British public deserve the right to vote on whether to leave the EU or not . The leadership have denied this right because they know what the result would be.
Liberals useless, Labour still seen as europhiles,Tories(of which I used to be )lost touch ,lameduck PM lying to save face (ref Juncker).
nearly a third of UK voters in the Euro elections voted UKIP ! Yes some was a protest vote ,I doubt if they are all racist!!!
I ask you now and I ask you to be honest, which political party in the UK represents the working man? It used to be Labours domain but it seems no longer ,so who do we turn to?

    Thanks for this Norway...

I wonder if your view is so formed living out of the UK..... My parents formed similar views living in Spain... .where of course they read the Daily Mail...Lving in Leeds..... most people seem more concerned with education, the nhs and their taxes, than Europe per se..... I think the whole UKIP/Europe debate is a distraction from real issues... and of course what real policies have UKIP formed on these issues???

I also wonder how you on the one hand say you voted Tory before .... and on the other "which political party in the UK represents the working man" ...."it used to be Labour" ... but you never voted for them??? How has the Tory party ever benefited the average "working man" with wages at the bottom end?

UKIP are a party of protest with some very strange and divergent ideas amongst elected members....

Incidentally I am now deciding to vote Green ... .where real issues are at stake... as they are the only party which clearly is doing what it says etc etc..... I don't wear sandals on a regular basis and I haven't hugged a tree since I was 17....

I agree with much of what you say about the EU, BUT we need to stay in.... major reform is what is required

    :)

You make no secret of the fact you vote for UKIP. What change would you like thm to bring about as a result of pulling out of the EU? Just one change that you think would make a significant difference to your life.
