It looks like Suarez has finally engineered his exit.

80m is a lot of money....

But look at Spurs, they invested the cash badly, and dropped out of the top 4 immediately.

They're not getting £80m mate, or anywhere close to it.

Given his record so far, I wouldn't trust Brent to re-invest it well. So they could easily piss it away on little better than average larkers

Shouldn't this be on the Premiership board?

Sewer Rat is a very good player and without him Liverpool will suffer bigtime.

    Back to 6th for them.

    Rodgers signings as Liverpool manager

18 signings. One a major success (Sturridge). Coutinho a good buy. Others are all flops (or two yet to make their debut), but overall that shows the odds are in favour of him pissing the money up the wall.

Mignolet was a decent buy from that list too, I would say.
Other than that though, there does seem to be quite a few duds on there.

The other worry must be what Gerrard turns up this year. He had a very good season last year but is another year older and has suffered some major disappointment these past few months. Could come back a shell of a player leaving Liverpool without essentially their 2 best players from last year (arguably at least).

    Worrying times for them <whistle>

With European football and not being a surprise package, it's going to be a much harder year for them without a doubt.

Quick question, mainly to you London (as all the threads you start are on us) but to Wear a bonnet and Tobes as well, do you ever discuss your own club? Serious question

A lot of Liverpool fans on other football forums are saying that they think Liverpool will struggle this coming season.
