Logically there will be fewer sold than in total last season as some will have not bothered (or sadly died), hopefully they will give members a chance before any general sale, I reckon we will be fine mate.
A little bird told me before it flew away ...that there will be very few "new" season tickets We may have to be real quick!
I'm away on charity walk at min with limited internet so wrote to box office during week in case they released them tomorrow. They said no sales would start until next week, info would be forthcoming after existing sales finish.
They probably need a few days to move any existing ST holders to other parts of the ground if people haven't renewed.
Cheers all. I'm with stan in that I also have a bad feeling about this. Glad I'm self employed as I may be queuing in the early morning one day next week.
Just thought I'd bump this to see if anyone has heard anything? Official site doesn't seem to have changed.
Nothing still, would have thought would be all computerised and sorted straight away. Trying not to get stressed on this like I did for the playoff final already look a bit like a skunk with the grey starting to show! (Kids would say I'm known to smell like one as well!)
Heard nowt yet Col. Quite happy because for the last two days I would have struggled to get on line to buy, but still feel oddly nervous about it.
I emailed the box office today. They don't have any information regarding whether there will be a members window for purchasing season tickets or not as yet.
Oh well. It may not be a good idea for me to get one anyway, I now want to see performances like the USAs last night every match. Only joking, hope its sorted soon though I'm off on my hols end of next week.
Still nothing. I've actually looked at the fixture list now. It's incredibly unbalanced in terms of numbers of games - only 3 per month until an overstuffed December. Same for everyone I suppose. And f**king typical, the back to back weekends in October that I knew I would be away for we have Liverpool and Villa at home. Suddenly the price of the season ticket becomes relevant as I'm already missing more than 10% of the games, before the rest of my travel pans out. How much did the Gold season ticket renewals cost? Over £700 I seem to remember. Assuming that membership is ignored and that there will be more to pay when they go on general sale I could be looking at something north of £50 a game if I can only make 14 or so..........
I think the club has has teamed up with viagogo or something so you can easily resell your seat for matches you can't attend. The money comes into your account and the seat is uploaded to the purchasers card from yours. Sounds like an efficient system though I've not used it. I'm in a similar situation where I know I will miss a number of games. I'm on holiday for our first 2 home fixtures but I still want a ST and will use the reselling system if poss.
