For me this is the signing we needed, I think in some games last year we failed to take control of the midfield against lower league teams and that cost us points. We need a bit of muscle and fight in those games which we are not getting from allen or lucas. Good luck to him hope he become are next masch or hamann.
Yes ability nit only to get about but to also muscle the midfield... Allen can run but has no physique. Lucas can no longer run... IMO both need to go and Gerrard is on the way out meaning in reality we could see another arrival in the next 12 month here
Yep lallana is an upgrade for Allen, Can hopefully an upgrade for Lucas, could see them both leaving but I have a feeling Brendan is going to try and keep a large squad.
