There must be quite a lot of good players that get over looked by England managers for ine reason or another. SKP only got a few, but still got the call, but who didn't make the grade that maybe should have? Steve Bruce, never got a full cap, despite scoring 19 goals one season.. There must be more.. Just noticed that PDC never won a cap either for Italy.
Got to agree with Brucey, as a partnership with Gary Pallister I never understood why they never got a go together. Superkev nevervreally got a real one
You have to be of a certain vintage to remember, but Billy Bonds never played for England and should have. Also, didn't think Howard Kendal played for England either
Gary Shaw, Tony Coton, Howard Kendall, Billy Bonds, Jimmy Case, Paul Davis, Paul Warhurst.. but there were better players who never got an England cap. Pele for one!
Geoff Thomas, Andy Sinton, Michael Ricketts, Francis Jeffers, Carlton Palmer, Seth Johnson, Keith Curle, David Nugent, Michael Gray, Dion Dublin and Steve Bould. - players that did!
That's true, a major flaw in the op. But i did say overlooked by English manager, have the sweaties ever had an english manager? i've no idea.
I had anticipated your response, young man. I would refer you to a previous comment - you never said he had to be.
Much that Shaun was one of my favourite players at the time, he had as much chance of playing for England as one of the hairs up my bum. Or Cecil Irwin.
