Well. Siem is a good start, let's get the rest.
If Richards proves too costly as Debuchy's replacement then the usa right back looks pretty good ..... admittedly on basis of one game

Reports now of a £12m fee with Arsenal agreed for Debuchy. To be fair, I think we've got to wish him well. He's got to want to play in the CL at 28. Seems like that's the MAXIMUM age any decent player can play for out club. We offer that platform where, if you're good enough, you'll get the chance to make one big, last move to a CL club at 28!

I see we've been linked with Aurier as a replacement. I'd be sad to see Debuchy go but Aurier would certainly not be a shabby replacement.

We should not sell him, even if he does want to go. He was happy enough to sign in the first place and we should not capitulate every time a club wants one of our players.
We need to keep what little talent we have, this one out, one in does nothing to take us forwards, when players leaving are as classy as MD.
Plus £12m is to cheap when you consider what other fees are flying around at the moment.

Nope, happy with that. I also disagree with Geordie lass - I think we should always rebuff offers from clubs in the Europa league and below, but I don't think it's fair to block a player achieving the goal of playing at the top of their game. What message does that send? Don't come here, everyone, we'll keep you here no matter what happens.

There's only 3 clubs in the World that I would say aren't "selling" clubs - Real, Barca and Bayern.

Good money and see you later buy younger player. We get best price now. He's good but not 12 million in my opinion.

If Shaw goes for c£30m, surely £12m is the least we should accept for him? Granted, Shaw is young and English blah, blah....... but......

Btw, have you pissed in your lasses mothers biscuit tin lately?

Yeah but shaw is younger and just because someone paid price doesn't change my valuation. 12 mill would get us two players

I would hate to see him go as for me he just kept improving throughout the season and was 1 of the few players to find consistency even if md was to stay I would still take a gamble on Richards as I really rate him and I think he could be useful as a centre half especially of we try 3 at the back from time to time

Look on the bright side though.. If you get relegated you will win the championship with relative ease and be straight back in the premier league the following season.

The Premier League teams should have to pay a Premium. £12m for PSG, £16m for Arsenal

    This <ok>

Although I think the premium should be double, especially as Debuchy could play against us for years!!!

Can't blame Debuchy for wanting to go I suppose, but I hate it when they don't want to be here. Sod him.
