We still have lots to come in, hull have spent loads of money so far and they aren't known as big spending hull. It was the same with saints last season. No doubt, we will sign a couple on a free and will be big spending QPR again!
I was going to say that I can't see Adel playing for QPR / Harry this season but then I saw this: http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/qpr-stars-65k-a-week-wages-set-7357808? Perhaps the lure of the PL might smooth troubled waters?
I just have a message that "link removed". What does it say / who said? Edit. Strangely it appears in replying to your post!
"Adel Taarabt will be forced to return to QPR on Thursday week if no club will pay his £65,000-a-week wages. The midfielder’s permanent move to AC Milan appears dead in the water because the Serie A side can’t afford the £5million asking fee or his salary. A second move to Napoli looks also set to founder for the same reasons. Taarabt fell out with boss Harry Redknapp last summer when the mercurial midfielder made it plain he wanted to return to the Premier League rather than battle a Championship campaign with relegated Hoops. The Moroccan international was unceremoniously dismissed from the Devon training camp and went on loan to Fulham. That too was short lived, but a second loan to the San Siro in January proved more successful, and Taarabt scored his first goal for AC Milan eight minutes into his debut against Napoli, ironically. He went on to score three more in 16 appearances and has told pals he has his heart set on a permanent move to the Rossoneri. But Rangers squad returns to pre-season next Thursday, and the former Championship player of the year, with two years left on his contract, is expected to pull on his Rs training shirt and muck in with the rest.
What happens next depends on Adel's attitude. If he starts rolling up late for training, sparks will fly
Not sure I'd have Remy on the bench instead of the pitch! That team is better that the one which we went up with last time if you ask me.
Actually that team looks better than what West Brom & Villa etc. played last seson. Not great but enough to give us a chance. Even better now with Ale Faurlin in the starting side.
The thing is, we need several good squad players, which is why I'm confused by so many people turning their noses up at O'Neill. We can't have a squad of 25 first teamers as it'll be chaos. And this is another reason why you need several older players as they are more likely to sit on the bench. O'Neill was more than fine when played in his best position. We should keep him because he's proven himself to play well, care about the team and has sat on the bench or reserves without complaint.
