    Given only that choice...I'd go for good players who jump ship (preferably after getting us into Europe and winning the FA Cup).

    I remember reading that Pochettino's philosophy was that the players would perform not for the club, not for the fans, but for each other. No surprise that they've all got the hump the moment a couple disappeared into the sunset and few of them show any respect for the club.

    Don't like his recent behaviour, but that doesn't mean he wasn't sincere with his message....he has had good times here and we have been a big part of his life. We can't have it both ways...moan because he has ignored us, then moan when he says goodbye.

    I still think its more than both of these. It's like a switch was flicked and 6 players suddenly want out. Not now, but 3-5 months back.

    Think it was sincere all be it very short but doubt it will change many people's opinions of him. There is no excuse for forcing a move by refusing to play and a one page "thanks" with a big picture of himself isn't going to pacify many.

    He showed no class or sincerity with his petulance to get his dream move. Too late now to start showing humility, his reputation with Saints fans will forever be tarnished.
    With his move now complete he is probably only now aware of the vitriol towards him. Not sure message is more about smoothing the waters rather than sincerity.

    How dare he say something nice! Let's face it, he couldn't say anything that would make people like/trust/believe him...it would be too long, too short, not thank every fan individually. He thanked us which was what fans were moaning he didn't do. He may have changed recently in his intentions, but he hasn't suddenly become a raging monster who has forgotten being here since he was twelve. When my husband left, I felt that he'd not only taken my future but also ruined all memories of my past...don't let's do that here...there have been bad, good and great times with Adam, but he isn't our future....that is far more exciting.
