I think that Mark Maguire recently said that Bullard, Olifin etc were outside of Pearson's budget for the sqad. Is it reasonable to assume that Pearson will not be making plans to include them in match squads on the basis that if he started them against Blackpool, by September he would be left having to re-jig his team, should anyone come in for any of them?
A lot of people would support using Olifin but somehow I don't believe it is going to happen. What do others think will be or should be Pearsons approach to the issue?

If Charlie Adam is still playing for the Tangerines come August 5th, then he's going to slice thru our lightweight midfield like a knife through olive oil, so I hope McKenna is in there at the very least.

He won't be there on July 5th, never mind Aug 5th.

What's do you reckon our wage cap is? Not a literal one, of course, but what are salary are we aiming to have our highest earners on? £12k-15k?
Can't imagine Roko is on any less than £12k.

I never even realised a wage cap was a 'literal' or tangible thing, but apparently I was wrong.

If you believe the rumours we offered Kilkenny 10k a week, so maybe 12k is a decent guess.

I don't believe the rumours, every single quote in relation to Kilkenny has been from his agent.

Though I do think £12k-£15k is about the maximum we're looking to go to.

What I meant was, we don't literally have a definite fixed figure that totally restricts us but we probably have, say for example, we said it was a maximum of £12k but if the right player came along we'd make an exception and be willing to stretch to £15k for him.

Still not convinced I've explained that very well but I hope you get the gist ;)
