I'll be really mad if we sign Parker, a useless player whose legs have gone, a typical lazy Redknapp signing. As is bent.

My thoughts are exactly the same as CAs.

Will Hughes could be a great no.10 for us, in the Marsh/Bowles mould.

I just hope it is not left to the very last minute (again?), and through desperation, we issue contracts to whatever dregs remain unsigned and unwanted elsewhere.

Agreed with all points on here

It seems to be that there will be a clear disagreement with the direction our signings should be betweeb Redknapp and Fernandes.

I for one and happy that Fernandes wants to sign younger talent with value

Bryson, Hughes and Caulker would be great signings

Bloody Redknapp and all those things he hasn't done. Typical! He should resign before he doesn't do some more.

QPR make their move for Derby star Bryson

    01/07/2014
    By David McIntyre

QPR have tabled an offer for Derby midfielder Craig Bryson.

The 27-year-old is one of Rangers’ top transfer targets following their promotion back to the Premier League.

Derby recently rejected a bid for him from Burnley and are hoping to persuade the player to extend his contract.

Bryson netted 16 goals last season and featured against the R’s in the Championship play-off final at Wembley, where Bobby Zamora’s last-minute winner took QPR up.

He scored two hat-tricks for the Rams last term, one of them coming against their East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp wants to sign at least one midfielder this summer and hoped to land both Bryson and Steve Sidwell, who opted to join Stoke when his Fulham contract expired.

Redknapp is also keen to strengthen his defence and has agreed a deal in principle to sign former England and Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand.

An offer has also been made for Cardiff’s much sought-after centre-back Steven Caulker, who is wanted by several other clubs.

I'm not sure if this "confirmation of an offer" is new news on known news.

Two Points I would like to make
firstly TF himself said most if not all the stuff in the papers is made up and untrue so the press will speculate and provide tons of lazy jouralism to fill space in rags.
Secondly all this we need young players in all signings. No, we need balance between a mixture of youth and experience like most good teams have. This does not mean I agree with certain signings but we are seeing a policy of both. TF seems on the face of it to have learnt his lessons, which means he will scrutinize the value of a deal more. Dont forget the relationship between Chairman and manager is based on what goals the Manager has been set by the chairmen and the time scale and resources given to deliver them. if TF says I need us to stay up whatever the cost then HR will look at the short term. likewise if its build for the long term then youth takes more of a part. So maybe the goal is try and keep us up and try and bulid for the longer term. This means a balanced team of experience and youth. So we seem happy if we are linked with a young player but not older . where is the balance.lets see what the final 25 looks like. Already we have got rid of a mixture of both and retained a mixture of both.
I just cannot agree that every link with a young player is down to TF and older HR. They seem to have a healthy respect for each other and will work together.
