I'm sure the Fulham owner won't notice £10M - He is worth £200 billion after all - he's worth £2.5M max though - and how much of that do you think you'll spend on players?

Hold on, you can't because of the embargo <laugh>

Makes sense for Fulham. He's a gamble at that money for a prem side. But if you want to get out of the championship and have plenty of cash, who better to buy than last year's top scorer in the division. Now it doesn't always work out that way but hey.

First choice for Ross would be prem football, second choice a side with genuine ambition to get there... And plenty of cash for wages obviously!

What price do you put on a guy that kept you in the division pretty much on his own. For all this loyalty rubbish that talked about, if rosco goes for good money he's doing us a favour and its a hell of a return on him. No beef with him, he owes leeds nothing and i wish the guy well.

TC, £2.5m for Ross? I'll rise to the bait and say you're talking out of your a%se. We'll soon see if this transfer talk is press speculation or has some legs. But if it is true and Fulham have offerred £10m, it will be very difficult to refuse.

    Just a few points/opinions

If Ross never scored the goals maybe another striker would have, we wouldn't have played the whole season with 10 men but I agree if his replacement was Morrison or Hunt we would have been in bother.

I haven't warmed to him in all his time at Leeds, the badge kissing and telling Cellino he wants to stay (if you give me more money) it has always been about what Ross can get out of the club, no different to any other player really.

For £8M I would be glad to see the back of him if the money was spent well, he isn't worth a penny over £5m if you ask me, one decent season is all he has produced, played out of position or not, this was the first season his goals mattered, he is a decent Championship player nothing more.

......and yet another divisive subject to split the fans. I thought this forum was for debating Leeds United, why can't people respect the views of others without getting all arsey when we/they disagree.

That's the thing shaks. Leeds is our lives, some of us into 40 years of mainly downs following the club. However we should not be under any illusion that any player, not just Leeds ones give a ****e about the club they play for. It's just a pay packet to them. I wonder how many of our players from the eighties or nineties, and we had hundreds of them, ever return to Elland road to watch us. I'd hazard a guess and say virtually none

Sadly I know you're right, but there were loyal players many years ago, it was before the likes of Sky(meaning the amount of money) ruined it. If Ross goes he goes, it won't effect me, but it does annoy me that he'd sign a 4 yr deal but doesn't have to honour it...but if the club wanted to sell him and he didn't want to go he could just sit on his arse till his contract wound down.

That's all down to that stupid Bosman ruling. Gave all the power to the players. A striker is paid to score goals. If he does that, he then looks for extra money. It's actually laughable when you think about it

If this happened I would literally lay eggs. Never seen him play, but on Footy Manager he is class for Premiership teams and only costs a couple of mil. Football Manager is never wrong as well
