I'm confident that's going to happen, we have a manager who knows how to win trophies and is a winner as well, the players we've signed as well are top quality, i expect us to sign another 3-4 in my opinion, I had this same feeling before the 2012/13 season and we won the league that season as well.
I hope you are NOT jinxing United again. I'll be happy with 4th (at the expense of the RS will make it sweeter!!). Anything else will be a bonus..
Wow.......... havent you just signed Herrera and Shaw? a 24 year old journeyman and a child? You need a CB or two first And not to mention your season also depends on LVG getting used to a new league and keeping RVP fit. Its not out of the realms of possibility but How and why you are "confident" this is going to happen is beyond me.
We will be entertaining this season. Thats all I am saying. Huge faith in van Gaal and I see a different United. regardless of anyones views on Moyes, the time has passed. No more looking back. Just hope we can all enjoy the season now. If we win the title, or any trophy it will be brilliant.
A 24 year of Journeyman hes played for just 2 clubs. Just 2...... TWO......... Give him the year before making judgement. I think you and others will be enjoying some humble pie.
Meant no offence to the guy, he is a good player, and a decent signing who will improve your team for sure. All I mean is, he is young, still has room for development and is not the finished article, and certainly not the player to single handedly drag you from 7th to Champions imo.
If you win the league we'll get a few dozen 'told you so' threads. If you don't we'll have this thread constantly commented on so it's win-win for Matth.
You have the same feeling at the start of every f**king season Matth. If you say it every year, you cant say you called it when you actually DO win the league. i linked a thread yesterday you did back in August 2013 where you said "I have a very good feeling about this season". United then had their worst season in 25 years. I think a big improvement is on the cards for United, but I dont see them winning it next year.
United could finish 17th next season and Matth would go into next summer with this exact same thread.
Certainly no harm in being positive matth. Already looking forward to it, WC is a bit of a disappointment so far tbh.
Moyes took the champions to 7th could have been worse if he was not sacked in April. Van Gaal will get us easily back in the top 4. Chelsea will be the team to beat next season.
