Its being replaced not scrapped. This is why I'd leave it well alone. Not talking about this person but a lot of people are rightly being taken off DLA, a lot wrongly too. If this woman has been taking her, husband and a few kids too then she's been very lucky to afford it. I'd like to take my nephews as their dad is a no mark but i cant afford it.
Anyway, I guess as that childish response is the only one you've offered in 'all' these times I've allegedly posted it, you don't see it as an issue. It looks like we're developing a rival for the OSC here.
I've posted it once on here and once on CI I believe (but I'll stand corrected, it could be twice). I was more curious as to what has been discussed about it at ctwd for the agenda as there are potentially some not insignificant implications, but your responses have kind of answered.
As far as I remember, it was something about not charging more for one stand than another, but the North is not more than the East, so I'm not really sure what the point was. If you want to post it again, particularly if I've got the wrong end of the stick, then by all means do and I'll look at it again.
I was the only one in there. It was late on mind. And no Filey, I'm South East corner ish. I'll definitely be moving next season though, it's just how I roll. I like a new challenge and besides the bloke next to me could bore for England. In fact, I wish I had moved now.
City Silent On Name Change Issue Fans will recall that on 4 June CTWD wrote to James Mooney, Hull City’s Marketing and Online Commercial Manager, raising issues of concern arising from the season card renewal forms that had been sent out to supporters. These issues were the conspicuous absence of the terms “Hull City” or “Hull City AFC” in any part of the form and the use instead of “Hull City Tigers”, “hulltigers” and “hullcitytigers” in email and postal addresses. This, of course, preceded the club’s announcement of a new badge that too had had the words “Hull City AFC” obliterated from it. Mr Mooney was on holiday when the club received the letter, but we were told he would deal with it upon his return. He has today – almost a month later - informed us that our enquiry has nothing to do with him, it is for the owners to respond. It is surprising – to say the least – that the member of staff with responsibility for the marketing of the club, including the very season card renewal forms that were sent out to supporters, is unable to answer some basic questions about his own public communications. It is dismaying that the club feels it acceptable to take so long to reply to an important and legitimate enquiry sent on behalf of its most loyal customers, the very same season card holders it was asking to pay 30% more for the cost of their support. This response, or rather the delay in supplying one, comes barely a week after the Ehab Allam revealed the new badge, introduced without the supporter consultation the club had promised. It does not appear that the club’s owners’ attitude to their customers is improving. The Allams’ refusal to use Hull City as the club’s name comes across as childish and vindictive. This uncertainty about the very name of the club is damaging to the club itself. We know of long-term supporters who are not renewing their season cards, and they are doing this not because of increased costs but because they can no longer tolerate the owners’ attitude to City supporters. We have asked that our letter of 4 June be passed on to Ehab Allam for a response. We now await that reply. http://notohulltigers.tumblr.com
Before anyone says it, we know the Allam's won't respond and we're obviously aware that James Mooney has been told not to. They might as well have replied 'we're applying to change the name again and we don't give a **** what you think about it, plebs'.
So you've, as representatives of a very small minority of fans, noisy sure, but still only a small percentage of actual fans, sent an email asking questions you know you won't get a response to, which include describing the owners as childish...pot/kettle much? Essentially you now look like some petulant 6 year olds who can't get the attention they're demanding. Carry on, no wonder people are getting fed up with you. Even by CTWD standards I'm quite surprised you've put in "you know some people who aren't renewing because...". Any reason why there's no actual figure on this statement? Is it because "We deffo know 4 quality people who aren't renewing because they don't like the owners" would make your **** stirring, lies and manipulation of the truth less effective? There's thousands of fans who also aren't put off by the rise, and who WILL (or have) be renewing. So, can we assume they're fully supportive of the owners? Or can we assume they're just quality fans, who stick with the club through good and bad and won't just drop the club on a whim?
Are you going to file another name change application this season? That's the basic question we asked and it's one I think it's fair that Hull City fans should expect an answer to. The fact that the club refuse to answer, confirms they are, as they'd obviously tell us if they weren't. As Happy states, we already knew that, we just wanted it confirming so that everyone knows where they stand.
I did return my pass renewal form yesterday. I did amend the SAE to read Hull City AFC rather than Hull City Tigers. It felt like a small moral victory.
